Brent M Lawrence, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in treating arthritis and sports injuries to the Hip, Knee, and Shoulder. He performs Arthroscopic Surgeries for the Shoulder and Knee, as well as total hip, knee, and shoulder replacement. Dr. Lawrence is one of the few surgeons in the state who performs minimally invasive anterior total hip replacements. He believes this procedure is less invasive and allows his patients a faster recovery and return to activity.
Dr. Lawrence is a native of Little Rock and graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 1998 with his M.S. in physical therapy. After practicing physical therapy for five years, he returned to school and earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2008. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2014 and has been practicing in Arkansas since then.
Dr. Lawrence is active in the community, providing sports medicine coverage for high school football games and volunteering for a variety of community outreach events. When he isn’t caring for orthopedic patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, playing golf, and hunting.
